products. It uses a CD-ROM mechanism and a very high
quality Audio Devices 24-bit/192kHz converter. The new
design is sleek and very elegant looking with a high
quality green dot-matrix display and robust construction.

The new CD-ROM transport delivers a smooth operation,
together with more robustness and longer life than a usual
audio CD transport. The leading-edge digital-to-analog
conversion section is based on the extraordinary AD1896
sample rate converter that feeds a AKM D/A converter based
on a very stable clock oscillator.

MAESTRO 192/24 CD

This
is the new CD player in the top of the range Maestro
series. Replacing the previous Maestro CD player, it now
features a CD-ROM mechanism for advanced reading ability
and robustness. This is matched by the very high quality
192kHz/24bit upsampling DAC from Analogue Devices and a
sophisticated power supply based on two transformers and
eight different regulators. Also featured are discrete very
high quality components in the analogue sections, fully
balanced circuitry and a low jitter sample rate converter.
Like the Maestro Settanta amplifier, it has an RS-232
interface control and a multiple control management system.
The new Maestro 192/24 has a highly detailed and gripping

Enigma is a unique unit, the first example of
multi-function high-end unit. Enigma provides circuital
solutions with no compromises and features capable to
satisfy advanced users’ demands. Its top-class,
low-tolerance passive components were chosen for their
quality and characteristics after long listening tests. The
power section of the unit is built with a Toroidal
transformer and eight different regulation sections, one of
which has discrete components. The most recent tube and
analog technologies come together in Enigma. It is equipped
with a tube preamplifier and two power pack LM3886 final
sections. It uses integrated-resistors network volume
controls with nobuffer for maximum sound transparency. Its
high-quality analogical circuits feature a large bandwidth
and low feedback. The unit has a 54W-per-channel 0.1% THD+N
power output on 8 Ohms. It is equipped with a low-emission
display to minimize noise on audio circuits. Enigma

Enigma is an HiEnd equipment that features: a CD player
provided with a D/A converter featuring a 128 times
interpolator filter and a third order noise shaper working
at 128fs; a Sanyo technology, totally shielded AM-FM tuner;
a stereo preamplifier with tube output interface based upon
an ECC88 fed by a regulated B+ supply and 6.3VDC heater
supply, integrated resistors network potentiometer (LM1972)
without integrated output buffer for optimum signal
transparency; a stereo power amplifier capable of driving
every kind of speaker, based upon LM3886 power packs. The
unit sports two line inputs, a tape deck output and a
headphone output on the front panel. All functions can be
operated by the front panel and from the remote control as
