Opera
Mezza is the smallest model of the “Classic Series”, it is
a two-way diffuser of about 8 internal litres with reflex
load, constructed to be placed like a shelf or on a stand
and characterised by a flat frequency
response and an unexpected low frequencies reproduction.

The
Prima is an attractive two-way, bass reflex, medium-sized
standmount model. It has an open and detailed sound with
very good scale and bass weight for its dimensions and is
front-ported, so close proximity placement to rear walls is
possible for optimum room compatibility.

SECONDA

The Seconda is a very interesting two-way design that uses
two separate sealed chambers in an ‘infinite baffle’
configuration with no bass relfex port. This closed box
design results in fast and taut bass response combined with
detail and weight. Again, due to the design of the speaker
room placement is not a problem.

QUINTA

The new Quinta continues with the outstanding scale and
depth of its predecessor and builds on it with the use of
new drive units, crossover and cabinet design. It’s a true
full-range, dynamic loudspeaker that relays anything from
jazz trios to full scale symphonic music with authority and
detail, yet also delicacy.

CALLAS
with the new loudspeakers of the Callas Series, Opera's
intention is to recreate within the home environment the
emotion and pleasure of listening to music; to provide a
stable and focused musical soundstage in three dimension
with correct timbre, dynamics and detail; and to do this
with no sense of listening fatigue. To achieve this goal,
every single technical aspect of the design was subjected
to intense musical listening tests at Opera. The new
loudspeakers of the Callas Series use tecniques and
components wich reflect the state-of-the-art in
electroacustic design, including controlled-diffraction
cabinets, drive units and crossovers. Every type of
distorsion has been analysed, quantified and reduced. The
sonic result is tonally correct, convincing, involving and
most of all, enjoyable to listen to. The Callas Series
loudspeakers are elegant and beautifully finished, and will
discreetly enhance any room.

MINI

The
Mini is the latest (and smallest!) model in the new Callas
range of loudspeakers. Maintaining the attractive small
dimensions of the original Mini, its humble size houses an
excellent performer, with focus and detail aplenty. The
cabinet follows the design of the other models in the
range, featuring curved sides and a ‘teardrop’ shape. The
construction is of plywood, thick MDF and a very high
quality real wood veneer, with a real leather baffle. The
bass drive unit has a front firing port which is carefully
tuned for close-wall positioning and impressive bass
response for the cabinet size.

Following the success of the Callas Diva and Divina models,
opera have introduced the slimline Callas SP to complement
the range. This design carries on the tradition of the very
popular SuperPavarotti model, which produced a big,
detailed sound with excellent quality bass from humble
cabinet dimensions. The new Callas SP features a rear
firing tweeter, unusual at its level. It gives the customer
a taste of real high-end sound and unrivalled elegance at
its reasonable price.

The Callas Divina represents the new top of the range,
no-compromise loudspeaker from Opera. The sound of the
Divina is unmistakably large scale and realistic, with
excellent bass extension and drive but with the sweetness
and detail that has come to be expected of the company.
This design takes Opera to the next level and is equally a
piece of furniture as it is a music maker. Finish is
available in a range of real wood veneers and a real
leather front baffle is available in a choice of colours.
