MAGELLAN CONCERTO SW2 £19,995

Following the universal acclaim that the flagship Magellan loudspeaker generated, Triangle have transferred the exemplary sound and build quality of the Magellan loudspeaker into a new package, the Magellan Concerto. Constructed from a single cabinet (as opposed to the three sections of its bigger brother) and finished in the same luxurious Burr Walnut, the Magellan Concerto offers ‘two thirds of the Magellan at half the price’! The Magellan concerto utilises the same advanced drive units as the Magellan and also uses the same superb quality Silver Ghost silver wiring throughout. MAGELLAN Grand Concert £39,750

Every company in audio has its flagship model and in the shape of the Magellan, Triangle’s is one of the finest loudspeakers to be found in the world. Five years of research and development went into creating this statement product. This procedure created a sound transfer system completely without compromise. Each of the Magellan’s 415 individual parts has been specifically thought out, manufactured and tested to ensure the highest possible standards of build and sound quality.

Each Magellan speaker is made up of three distinct sections (each one decoupled from the other by solidly constructed brass spikes,) for limiting inter-modualtion between sound sources. There’s two sections for the bass drivers and the third (middle section) for the midrange and treble units (which are located on both sides of the enclosure). The striking structure of the cabinet is not just intended for aesthetics – stunning as they are. The curved design plays an integral part in the frequency response, limiting the occurrence of standing waves. The cabinet is constructed from multi-layered wood fibres and is also reinforced to virtually eliminate unnecessary resonance. It is finished in very high quality luxurious walnut burr.

The in-house manufactured drive units are the finest ever created by Triangle to ensure the quality of detail and control necessary with such an advanced design.
