The all new IA-7 V2 Integrated from NuForce now features a
higher output per channel, offering a genuine 100w per side

beautifully finished anodised case (with choice of
colours), you get 2 stereo RCA inputs and 2 3.5mm Stereo
Jack for alternate sources. Binding posts are top quality
accepting both spades, bare cable and 4mm banana plugs, and
the fit and finish is first rate.
It in the listening however that this integrated excels. As
seen and heard at CES the IA-7 V2 Integrated is a superbly
fluid performer, that brings a wonderfully wide and deep
image to the Music. With NuForce's know how they have got
this amp to perform well, bringing a wonderfully flat
response, making this a very neutral amplifier leaving very
little signature in the Music.
P8 Pre Amplifier

With the success of the Reference series power amplifiers,
NuForce have launched the P8 preamplifier to compliment the
talents of its mono block range. With the speed, timing and
purity of signal, the sound stage of this diminutive little
pre is quite astonishing.
The P8 offers the style conscious user 3 RCA inputs, an
Ipod input and a headphone socket, outputs are either
single ended RCA or Balanced XLR. With remote control
offering volume, mute and input selection, the functions
are basic, but all the audiophile really needs to minimise
interference with listening enjoyment. With the elegant
presentation and thoughtful styling this piece of hand
crafted equipment will grace any living room with style.
Thoughtful use of low brightness indicators on the front
panel do not detract from this units overall presentation.
With sound quality to match some o the finest pre

P9 Pre Amplifier

The all new NuForce P9 is now here in the UK, unveiled to
the UK public at the Manchester Hi Fi Show it created quite
a stir partnered with the now famous Reference 9SE 150w
Mono blacks, so we are very pleased we finally have a
pre to match the world leading class N technology now being
licensed by NuForce. The P9 pre amplifier comes from
collaboration with renowned audio designer Damien Martin
and NuForce CEO Casey Nguyen.
The P-9 preamp is housed in two separate chassis. The first
contains three separate power supplies and microprocessor
control logic, the second chassis houses the analogue
volume control input selection relays and sensitive
analogue circuit components. Designed to be partnered (not
exclusively) with the NuForce Reference series of power
amplifiers, the P-9 chassis matches their form factor and
is available in the same colours.
The heart of the P9 is an all-discrete precision
operational amplifier module. Ultra low-noise monolithic
dual JFETs, specially selected VMOS FETs and extremely flat
hFE bipolar transistors are arranged in a dual cascade
configuration, its shield driven to reduce capacitive
loading on the final voltage amp. This allows the P9 to
achieve 5MHz power bandwidth with a S/N ratio exceeding
100dB with more than 120 dB of dynamic range. The P-9's
inherently stable gain circuitry features no capacitors or
DC servos in the signal path.
With 5 input channels, and a pass through function if it is
to be used as part of a home theatre surround sound setup,
the P9 has exceeded our expectations at HIAudio, in terms
of both functionality and audio performance. Roll on

both old and new who have/will purchase a NuForce P8 pre
amplifier, there exists through our growing dealer network
a 100% byback policy, should you wish to upgrade
your P8 to the new P9. Talk to your dealer and they will

all NuForce owners.

NuForce ref 8.5 V2 mono block £899
Replacing the discontinued Reference 8, the first NuForce mono block released in March 2005, the Reference 8.5 fitted with the new patented V2 board and more powerfull power supply, is a real giant killer. So much so we believe its better than the original Reference 9 Special Edition.
Sharing the same circuitry as the Reference 9 V2 but a
smaller SMPS (switch mode power supply). However, even with
the smaller 160w @ 8 ohm power supply (Upgradable), this
amp will drive most speakers with ease. If you need a
little more grunt or want more headroom, then upgrade to
the Reference 9 V2 or SE V2 with their 190w. Available now,
for those with smaller rooms or more efficient loudspeakers
the Reference 8.5 V2 matches the Reference 9 V2 in all way
other than power output, a sure winner in any hi fi system.
Featuring both balanced and single ended inputs, at the
price point few can match in terms of audio performance
offered. For those used to Stereo power amps the world of
the mono block needs exploring. Total channel separation
projects a stunning and accurate musical image, enveloping
the listener in the beauty and sonic definition. We just
love the new Ref 8.5 V2.

Reference 9 V2 Mono Block 190w Power Amplifier

The
Ref 9 V2 Mono Amplifier is intended for use by serious
audiophiles. They are constructed as mono blocks thus a
pair will be needed for stereo reproduction. Sharing a
common case with the rest of the NuForce equipment base
they will stack in an elegant fashion. The reference 9's
are very unusual at this price point in that they have a
balanced input as well a single ended phono (RCA) input.
there is a simple switch on the back panel enabling change
between inputs. The binding posts on the rear panel are
Eichmann Cable Pods enabling the user to use either spades,
4mm banana plugs or bare wire. They are regarded by many as
being amongst the best connectors in the world. With its
generous power output, and phenomenal current delivery this
amplifier has been built to operate for many years and
comes with a standard 3 year warranty.
On the front panel here is a low brightness power indicator
which compliments the choice of case colour. The Reference
9 V2 is available in either black, solver or gold off the
shelf. Special colour finishes can be made to order. There
is a surcharge for this service. The delivery time reflects
the effort NuForce put into their build quality.
Like
all of the rest of the NuForce products the Reference 9
V2's are amongst the finest power amplifiers available.
Regardless of pricing these amplifiers hold there own with
some of the finest valve and semi conductor amplifiers ever
built, unlike most other amplifiers the reference 9's run
at a cool temperature. The advantages to this are numerous
but the main advantage is in the monetary and environmental
cost of operation.

The Reference 9 SE V2 incorporates an improved power supply
board with a low-ESR capacitor bank. Further enhancements
include a separate switching power supply for the analogue
front-end, and improvements to the signal input section,
including higher quality input capacitors, and the
installation of premium 6-nines, oxygen-free copper input
wiring. The SE version also comes fitted with the WBT
NextGen RCA input connector and the Eichmann speaker "cable
pods" as standard, and is switchable between balanced and
single ended mode at input.
