Clearaudio Emotion Turntable
clear version £490
bluemotion / black version / red version £600
The EMOTION turntable possesses all the qualities of a high-end analogue turntable. High-value, carefully selected materials, an elegant appearance and the design philosophy derived from our reference quality products. Computer controlled CNC machined parts made in our German factory.
The material used for the EMOTION chassis is high quality GS-acrylic and aluminium. This composition of material brings ideal mechanical and acoustic properties.
The maintainance free turntable-bearing uses a polished and hardened steel shaft, which runs in a polished sinterbronze precision cap. The motor drive unit is isolated and damped from the chassis. The high precision machined 20mm thick turntable platter achieves its accurate speed over the polished NBR-kautschuk drive belt which has no glue connection. Adjusting the speed rotation of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm is clearaudio-typically designed, easy and fast by changing the position of the drive belt on the motorpulley (78 rpm is also possible with an optional motorpulley).
The Emotion turntable is delivered in a package with the SATISFY tonearm, a complete new-designed clearaudio construction with extremely high structural rigidity combined with ultra low friction movement. The horizontal bearing uses a shaft made out of wolfram, their polished ends are running in saphir watch bearings. The vertical tonearm bearing uses extremely precise and long life ceramic bearings. The headshell of the SATISFY tonearm allows an accurate adjustment of any cartridge type. The fine signal is lead directly through the clearaudio OFC SUPERWIRE to the non-magnetic clearaudio rca-outlets mounted in the back of the EMOTION.
Three colours: satin clear, satin blue and black
[acrylic cover £115]

The Bluemotion also comes as a package with Clearaudio's
tonearm 'Satisfy' [a combination of sapphire in
the horizontal and ceramic bearings in the vertical, the
headshell design also allows for easy adjustment of
catridge alignment] and includes their 'classics' MM
cartridge.

The
sum of years of experience is incorporated into the design
of the Champion series. Within you will find the proven
inverted bearing design, isolated and dampened motor and a
resonance optimised acrylic chassis. Clearaudio is a leader
in its field. We develop new standards instead of following
the pack.
A
comprehensive upgrade concept is incorporated in the design
of all Clearaudio turntables. This upgrade path allows one
to move from the entry level to the ultimate with virtually
no loss of initial investment. The fundamental material of
the Champion chassis is high quality GS-acrylic in
combi-nation with stainless steel. The accurate
machinability of the acrylic plinths sandwi-ched between
massive stainless steel pods brings the ideal mechanical
and acoustic properties.
Consequently,
the design provi-des superb rigidity with low resonance for
excellent clarity and dynamics. The platter is also
machined from GS-acrylic for low resonance, ideally
matching the vinyl record.
Precision
machining assures utmost accuracy and all acrylic materials
used throughout the Clearaudio line are heat tem-pered to
guaranty years of flawless perfor-mance. The massive
acrylic platter is closely matched to our inverted bearing,
a Clearaudio exclusi-ve design found on all of our
turntables. The platter is manufactured with very tight
toleran-ces to assure rotational accuracy. The inver-ted
bearing, consisting of polished, hardened steel and
phosphored bronze, is precision machined and hand lapped in
our German factory.

Clearaudio Champion Level I Turntable

The Magnum owner is the owner of 28kg of perfectly machined
and finished parts, hand-built and offering a magnitude of
performance above the regular Champion. The most cost
effective turntable in the Champion line, the Champion
Magnum, features the massive 70mm platter and matching
bearing assembly normally only found in the Champion Level
II.
A new Clearaudio design, the Champion turntable is your
gateway to high-end turntable performance. It employs the
same high quality, specially selected materials, and
attention to detail that have created Clearaudio's
reputation for audio excellence, but applied to a novel
design. Each component is manufactured entirely in
Germany. The turntable chassis is built from GS-Acrylic, the
best and also the most expensive acrylic material
available. The shape is optimised to minimize resonance and
the structural plates and available in either a clear or
black finish. The platter is precision machined from
Silicon-Acrylic, chosen to match as closely as possible the
mechanical properties of a vinyl record.
It runs on Clearaudio's well know inverted main-bearing
design, as used in all their turntables. The mass loaded
Clearaudio Synchron belt drive motor system is both simple
and effective, allowing superb performance from a turntable
that can be setup and running in a matter of minutes. All
components are selected for their longevity and sonic
performance.Interchangeable armboards are available for all
known 9" tonearms, allowing you enormous freedom of choice.

Clearaudio Ambient Turntable
£3020
The Ambient chassis is developed from the ‘Master Reference
AMG Wood’ and consists of a high-tech sandwich of
‘Panzerholz’ between two precision-machined aluminium
plates. The ‘Panzerholz’ is formed by highly compressing 70
fine layers of wood and synthetic resin under massive
pressure resulting in a high density, acoustically dead
and, incidentally, bulletproof material.
Contained within the separate motor plinth is a custom
version of Clearaudio Syncro, power regenerator and
electronic speed controller. This gives unparalleled user
convenience with start, stop, and speed selection at the
touch of a button. A backlit blue LCD displays the exact
speed of rotation.
The Clearaudio Ambient uses a silent belt; a joint-less
silicon-based drive belt which transfers significantly less
noise into the platter than traditional rubber types. The
twin-axis Satisfy Carbon Directwire combines extremely high
structural rigidity with ultra-low friction movement. The
woven carbon fibre arm tube is both extremely rigid yet
light. The vertical bearing uses a shaft made out of
wolfram, the polished ends of which run in sapphire watch
bearings.
The Satisfy Carbon Directwire also features an unbroken run
of Clearaudio’s own Direct Wire from the cartridge to phono
plugs.
High quality selected parts, excellent technology, timeless
design and the proven Clearaudio manufacturing quality
enables the Ambient turntable and Satisfy Carbon Directwire
tone arm to set new standards in their class.

Clearaudio Solution
£1310 (choice of armboard)

Master Solution platform, upgrades include the
“Side-Force-Free” triple motor/belt drive, Accurate Power
Generator (APG) motor synchronizer and a second GS-Acrylic
three pointed star plinth.
The three pointed star plinth positions the motors
precisely and tensions the belt-drive system for lowest
possible distortion. These enhanced features are derived
from the Clearaudio flagship Master Reference turntable. The
Maximum Solution provides performance second only to our
Master Reference turntable but at a significantly lower
expense and fully upgradeable from the base Solution model.
The Maximum Solution is the ultimate expression of the
Clearaudio philosophy.

Clearaudio Avantgarde Turntable

design a step further with a 70 mm thick acrylic platter
(the Avantgarde's platter is 40 mm) for even more detail
retrieval and sonority. Like the Avantgarde, the Avantgarde
Magnum features a massive sandwich base, with twin layers
of thick acrylic separated by an aluminium plate, designed
to dampen resonances to inaudibility, while increasing the
clarity and musicality for which Clearaudio is famous. As
with all Clearaudios, the motor is separate, housed in a
massive stainless steel cylinder, driving a special
Clearaudio belt to rotate the platter.
