There are usually some good quality phono stages with which to partner your turntables.

The work on the turntable itself was done by Artisan audio which is out-lined below:
- Clean check lubricate main bearing
- Clean lubricate and adjust motor bearing
- Add sound isolation damping to underside of chasis
- Apply damping to speed selector lever
- Modify return spring
- Remove Lenco arm and other parts that are a source of resonance.
- Direct coupling of plinth to lenco top plate.
- and fitting of turntable to plinth
The Plinth was made of a top layer of .75 MDF and then glued to .5 of Birch ply, then 0.5 of each until the desired weight was reached. These plinths work better than birch ply or mdf on their own.
The Plinth was made by Russ Collison, who is well know for making plinths and has made over 200 to date. The finish is santos rosewood.
