Individually
hand built in the United Kingdom, each Graham Slee pre amp
is the accumulation of 25 years research into the art of
near perfect electronic sound reproduction.
Extensive
quality control systems check each individual model to
ensure all parameters (S-N, gain, RIAA accuracy, distortion
etc) are as intended.
All
models improve with use during the first couple of weeks,
revealing more about the music with each consecutive
rendition.
Revelation
£740
Graham Slee top line phono pre amp the Revelation, features
for the first time both balanced and single ended outputs.
As with the Jazz Club/Era Gold phono stages the Revelation
shares a circuit with its simpler brethren, the Reflex. The
other all new phono stage that is setting a new standard in
vinyl replay. The only difference being its multi EQ
functionality.
With a selection of 15 different equalization
characteristics, the Revelation will reproduce the sound
from virtually any historical or contemporary recording,
with skin tingling nostalgia. People may ask why do you
need these, well a quick look at
Grahams web site
at the multitude of EQ curves, used by recording engineers
to cut the blanks when starting the vinyl chain, makes you
realise not all records are recorded the same. In fact pre
RIAA and for many years after its inception, recording
sound completely different to that intended unless the
correct equalisation is applied on playback.

Jazz
Club
£600
Multi EQ MM and high output MC Phono stage based on the
Award winning Era Gold ideal for record collectors.
Supplied with PSU1 power supply £600
If your record collection spans a century, the Jazz Club
phono stage is the choice for you. Based upon the highly
successful Era Gold, you will not be disappointed with the
span of sound achievable with this special phono
preamplifier.
With a selection of 15 different equalization
characteristics, the Jazz Club will reproduce the sound
from virtually any historical or contemporary recording,
with skin tingling nostalgia.
"I
couldn't believe the presence of Ella's voice, or the lack
of noise from the old shellac. Whether you just want a
dedicated, high quality MM phono section, or play or
digitize 78's, or just want to hear what various LP EQ
curves sound like, the Jazz Club is well worth
considering."
Michael Fremer, Analogue Corner, Stereophile - June 2002.

Era
Gold Reflex
£620
With the now famous Era Gold brought back into production,
its natural replacement is here to stay. The Era Gold
Reflex builds on all the knowledge gained by Graham and
John, and then incorporates all the latest European
legislation into its superb design. Bringing what some
cartridge manufacturers describe as the "best sounding
solid state Phono pre amp, money can buy, period" to the
public at large, at a very affordable price.

The Reflex pre amp incorporates a cutter head 'knee' and
low input capacitance to compensate for groove and
cartridge phase displacement, thereby restoring harmonic
information. Phase error is virtually non-existent due to
an extremely wide and stable 150Khz bandwidth. Dual
regulator power filtration is afforded through a PSU1 24
watt peak capacity power supply and the Reflexs' built-in
regulator system.
"It has been through a deeper exploration of stability in
the context of our wide bandwidth designs that the REFLEX
has come into being. The way it has told us it is right, is
through the musicians and singers - the way they have
become "unstuck" from one another. The REFLEX has the
ability to separate the performers further than before, but
still keeps the togetherness or cohesiveness of the
performance. It can enable you to hear that missing word
while still hearing the instrumental accompaniment - that's
what stability with wide bandwidth does - and nothing else
can."
The Graham Slee Era Gold V phono pre amplifier requires a
burn in period of at least 2 weeks from new to achieve its
best performance.
Era Gold V
£480
Award winning Group test winning MM and high output MC
Phono stage, supplied with PSU1 power supply. Upgradeable
to accept all cartridge impedances with the Elevator EXP
stage amplifier.
The
Graham Slee Era Gold phono preamp is quite unlike any other
phono stage. It throws current thinking (in solid state
versus valve arguments) to the wind and concentrates on the
one and only important task, reproducing music the way it
sounds. Specifically developed for high quality moving
magnet, moving iron and high output moving coil cartridges;
the Graham Slee Era Gold produces a sound that enthralls
the listener with its crystal clarity and tonal precision.

With the Era Gold phono pre amp, bass plumbs the depths but
is not overblown and detail is carried to communicate the
true character of real bass. Mid range has the transparency
and openness to deliver both the complexity or simplicity
of a performance with unbelievable presence. Reproduction
of highs have such reality that each harmonic identifies
the true character (timbre) of the instrument and ambiance
of venue, to capture the ethereality and ephemerality of
the moment. The Era Gold pre amp incorporates a cutter head
'knee' and low input capacitance to compensate for groove
and cartridge phase displacement, thereby restoring
harmonic information. Phase error is virtually non-existent
due to an extremely wide and stable 2.7Mhz bandwidth. Dual
regulator power filtration is afforded through a PSU1 24
watt peak capacity power supply and the Era Gold built-in
regulator system.
"Finally there's the issue of run-in and warm up as these
units need to be left on continuously (7 watts power
consumption - HIAudio) and used regularly! With those
practical points in mind The Graham Slee Era Gold /
Elevator EXP pair rates as one of the finest moving coil
stages I've used and earns a hearty approval for record
junkies who want to hear more of what's in the vinyl
groove."
Andrew Harrison, Hi Fi News November 2004
"This is evident by the Era Gold Vs mastery at reproducing
the music with such scale that even the most complex music
never catches it out. My reference record deck displayed
such a grip of the music that it was almost frightening at
times. I can give this RIAA a recommendation of the highest
order with absolute confidence. In my opinion this is
probably one of the best RIAAs in the world."
Stewart Wennan, Hi-Fi World August 2004

"... the Era Gold is ordinary to look at (no Longer -
HIAudio) - however, sonic performance comes first and
that's one area where the GSP Audio doesn't need lessons
It's moving magnet only, but with such cartridges its
deliver a killer performance that no price comparable rival
can match. That's why it comes our winner"
What Hi Fi? Sound and Vision February 2004
"But you wont buy this for its looks. Given its price and
its miraculous - and this agnostic means miraculous -
performance, I recommend the Graham Slee Era Gold Mk.V as
enthusiastically, if not more so, as I've recommended any
product I've reviewed and recommended in all the years I've
been doing this."
Michael Framer, Stereophile? January 2004
"If you are in the market for a serious phono-stage for MM
or high output MC then the GSP Audio Era Gold will be the
one the others have to beat. It is so good that you might
even start doubting the need for MC at all."
Jason Hector, Hi-Fi Plus
"...I've listed the runners and riders, added the caveat
"in my system and room" and finally "to my ears", so here
goes. The Era Gold + Elevator EXP is the best phono
combination for MC's I've ever heard - period..."
Geoff Husband,
TNT-Audio.

Gram
Amp 3 Fanfare MC Phono Stage
£245
The All new and ground breaking for Graham the Gram Amp 3
Fanfare is Graham Slee's first ever dedicated Moving Coil
RIAA phono stage. However, it is not his first MC stage and
MC amplification and equalisation are no stranger to Mr
Slee. Developed from his understanding gained in designing
the Award winning Elevator EXP and Era Gold V phono stages,
the Fanfare heralds a new era in Grahams' magnificent
product portfolio. So if you have budget MC cartridge or
even a mid priced offering, listen through a Fanfare and
you will be amazed at how good they sound.

"We make no apology here as we whole heartedly agree with
Graham so here are some words from the man himself.
"Unfortunately the industry has been pushing the concept
that one circuit can be optimised to do the two jobs of
moving magnet and moving coil pre-amplification at the
flick of a switch. If science were that easy then Michael
Shumacker could win - at the flick of a switch - in the car
he drives to the track in!
"At the same time you are told that hi-fi separates are the
only way to go for the performance you're after. Isn't it
time for the hi-fi salesman to make his mind up?
"The truth is that one amplifier stage can only be
optimised for one narrow range of gains. Hence the negative
feedback argument used to explain why one amplifier sounds
better than another. With 20dB difference between low
output moving coil and high output moving magnet, it is
immediately apparent that the universal phono stage is
going to let you down on one of its settings. That's
usually the moving magnet one, so why bother spending over
the odds for something that's going to end in
disappointment?
"That is why the Fanfare is dedicated to low output moving
coil and stages such as our similar looking Gram Amp 2
Special Edition are dedicated to the higher output moving
magnets and high output moving coils. When you look at the
prices of these two units, it is obviously cost effective
to opt for one or the other, or even to buy both if you're
going to be using both high and low output cartridges. You
may end up paying a tiny bit more for a great deal more in
musical performance."
Gram
Amp 2 Special Edition
£214
Mid price, top performing stylish MM and high output MC
Phono stage. Supplied with wall wart power supply. Improve
resolution and dynamics with the PSU1 power supply upgrade.
The Gram Amp 2 Special Edition phono preamp is the big
brother to the Gram Amp 2 phono pre amp and was developed
in response to demands from the American market.

Possessing more power, an increased internal power rail,
and superior interior voltage regulation (with increased
gain and overload margins) the Gram Amp 2 Special Edition
pre amp is about more space and more dynamics neatly packed
into what is already a top rated design.
Thanks to excellent reviews in Europe and America the Gram
Amp 2 SE phono preamp is now available here in the UK.
The new model has undergone further sonic refinement, and
now comes in a new look case. Should the customer wish to
move to utilising expensive low output moving coil
cartridges, then the new Elevator Fanfare allows for a
simplified cost effective upgrade path.
"...all the earmarks of a giant killer...the more you
listen to this thing on its own, the more you'll discover
that you can play it for hours without fatigue...the
presentation had a rare top to bottom cohesiveness, with a
tonal balance unusually rich, lush, and, well,
beautiful...It's love at first sound between the Gram Amp
and vocalists, while violins are marvelously silken..."
Paul Seydor, Absolute Analog,
The Absolute Sound,
Feb/Mar 2002.
"...a startling little machine. In the price versus quality
sweepstakes, it is a winner in every way that counts:
musicality, definition, preservation of instrumental and
human voice timbre, speed, fullness of sound and, finally,
price.."
Neil Walker,
EnjoyTheMusic.Com,
Issue 0402.
"...they'll be amazed by its sound...the Gram delivered
genuine solidity in the mid-band and mid-bass. It was
quiet, and free from the thinness, edge, and grain you
usually get at this price..."
Michael Fremer, Analog Corner,
Stereophile,
June 2002.
Gram
Amp 2 Communicator
£150
Highly
regarded gram amp MM and high output MC Phono stage. 5 star
and 5 globe performances for pennies. Improve resolution
and dynamics with the PSU1 power supply upgrade.
The
Gram Amp 2 Communicator phono preamp is a fourth generation
product and a definitive upgrade for the much applauded
Gram Amp 1 preamp. The new Gram Amp 2 Communicator has been
styled with definate purpose in mind. Its new case is The
case has been slimmed so that it'll fit [rotated 90
degrees] a Eurocard case [sub-rack "crate"], taking up only
9HE width.

A special front panel is included with every unit to adapt
it to sub-rack use and the nylon screws and spacers
"ground-lift" the case to prevent "hum-loops" without
compromising the grounding of the circuit and the excellent
EMC shielding properties. Whether it's used professionally
or not, the front panel sets it off with an impressive
professional appearance.
Higher-level dynamic performance and superior timing,
timbre and detail resolution provide seamless tonal balance
for a musical feast of shimmering highs, fluid midriffs and
deepest bass.
For total immersion (in the music) an optional upgrade to
the PSU1 power supply unit is available.
"The Gram Amp 2 was something else... Given the lack of the
IEC warp filter and other changes, I had expected it to
sound a little different. What I didn't expect was for it
to soundstage like a four-figure pre."
Geoff Husband -
TNT-Audio Feb 2001.
Gram
Amp 1 Bridge:
£99
Entry level gram amp with killer performance.
The Gram Amp 1 started life as "The Basic" as reviewed in
the Gramophone magazine, 2001. As GSP Audio's first mass
market phono stage, it was responsible for putting GSP
Audio on the map. The MkII was a stunner, offering
increased performance and better value for money, know
finally the Gram Amp 1 Bridge has received a metal case and
another sonic work over. Meeting the latest RoHS regulatory
standards, the new "Bridge" is a little gem.

Times and seasons change, markets diminish and regenerate;
turntables are back. Why do the "high end" products always
get the limelight? The new Gram Amp 1 with stylish livery
and LED detail changes all of this, more importantly the
tweaked internals, enhanced quality capacitors and further
reduced noise floor make the new Gram Amp 1 really rock.
A fourth generation product, the Gram Amp 1 Bridge builds
on the strengths of its forebears, and addresses its
earlier weaknesses. Look at the reviews however, and you
will see there weren't many weaknesses identifiable for its
price, this is a remarkable phono pre amp and is well worth
a listen.
For total immersion (in the music) an optional upgrade to
the PSU1 power supply unit is available.
Moving
Coil Step Up Amplifiers
Elevator
EXP
£510.00 inc. PSU1
Much vaunted variable loading stage amplifier, suitable for
use with Era Gold or Jazz Club Phono stages and most valve
stages.
The
Elevator EXP is designed for those who prefer a moving coil
cartridge, by raising the 'decibels' to that expected from
the majority of moving magnet cartridges.

Through innovative design the Elevator range has overcome
the problems normally associated with step up transformers,
namely bandwidth limiting and the unwanted 'hum and buzz'
of mains and rectifier noise.
The Elevator EXP is specifically designed for valve phono
stages, the Era Gold and Jazz Club, for the ultimate vinyl
experience.
All models have broad bandwidth and are DC coupled,
ensuring absolute phase accuracy, for superb rendition of
instrumental and vocal timbre.

MC
£475
The all new Solo Monitor Class is the master in the field
of headphone amplification, 5 star award winning sound and
style. Supplied with PSU1 power supply.
The Solo MC 2007 (Monitor Class) headphone amplifier should
be top of the wish list for those who prefer a private

The Solo does not use electronic tinkering to achieve its
spine chilling and emotionally evoking rendition, and will
enhance the performance of the widest range of dynamic
headphones up to and including the best.
Check out Rock Grottos' review of the latest and final
version of this excellent headphone amplifier.Once you've
read it pop down to your local dealer to go and audition
it, You will not be disappointed.
What Hi Fi have just undertaken in their October issue the
first UK magazine review, and they loved it, their 5 star
verdict - "... If you are serious about Headphones go and
have a listen to the Solo - and be prepared to buy it there
and then."
Alternatively pop along to any of the Uk Hi Fi Shows, and
go take listen at the Sennheiser stand. Where it is
powering their new HD650 headphones.
"...the Solo is indeed an audiophile's product .. In
relative terms, its price/performance ratio is nothing
short of excellent. Its design and sound show first rate
understanding of what is required of such a unit."
Dejan Veselinovic, TNT-Audio, TNT-Audio May 2001.

drive two pairs of headphones (splitter lead not supplied).
Solo
Intro
£333
With plug top power supply instead of PSU1 - upgradeabl.
Introducing
the Solo Intro. The Solo Intro is every bit the 'singing
and dancing' Solo, but minus the PSU1 power supply.

result is still awesome and upgrading to the full Solo is
as simple as acquiring the PSU1 power supply.

Top of the wish list for those who prefer a private

and dynamics (the audio equivalent of 'reading between the
lines') that few loudspeaker systems can hope to emulate.
